I continue giving my thoughts on the Star Wars trilogy. This review will center on Episode 5 in non spoiler and spoiler reviews.

Non spoiler review

Story

Every Episode never ceases to amaze me with its fresh creatures, civilizations, planets, tech., characters, and more! The film does a great job in making you feel main characters will die even if you know they won't!

Bespin is breathtakingly beautiful!

Seeing Vader was completely unexpected and scary! There's no way the heroes could've escaped or resisted!

The scene where Solo is frozen is emotional as well as twisted because its a fate worse than death! Its emotional seeing Chewbacca cry as he resists the storm troopers.

Lando appears to plan to betray the Empire judging by his body language!

Things look great for our heroes but when you look deeper into Luke's character, you feel they're actually getting worse. Yoda agrees with Obi Wan that Luke is reckless and doesn't have high hope for him evidenced by him mentioning there is still another hope.

The fight between Darth Vader against Luke Skywalker was bone-chilling, creative, and dark physically as well as metaphorically! Vader looks like he's playing with Luke! Part of what makes this fight special is both rely on the environment to fight.Vader tries to convince Luke to give into the dark side which very well could happen as Luke may have hated him for killing Obi Wan, his parents, and endangering others. I loved how rather than severely defeat Luke physically in a battle, Vader tries to break his morale by admitting he's Luke's father. Its also shocking Vader planned on overthrowing Darth Sidious.

When Luke gets his hand cut off, it alludes to Anakin getting his hand cut off in Episode 2 for recklessness.

Star Wars makes you feel main characters will die several times, especially when Luke is clinging to dear life and using the force to communicate with Leia.

Characters

Lando is a lovable character at first. Like Solo, he has style in his speech and mannerisms as well as dress. He feels trustworthy.

Chewbacca can be aggressive but he's mostly a gentle giant.

Lando's robot is disturbing! It looks and feels like a human controlled by a robot parasite!

Cinamtography

The cinamotgoraphy is amazing like always with various close-up shots and those from long range!

Dialogue

The dialogue is just as strong as it was in the last Episode! Episode 5 has lines that go down in history!

Acting

All of the actors did well as expected. Vader delivers lines so strongly in the episode.

Theme

The theme is centered on patience. Yoda tells Luke if he saves Han Solo and the rest of his crew too soon, it could undermine the benefits they would achieve through suffering.

Music

The music makes the action more epic. It sounds like a marching band at times.

In conclusion, you must own Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back on DVD and Blu-ray for JUST $6!

How will this DVD/Blu-ray box set change your life?

Its affordable - You're paying less than if you bought this new! Warranties are scams! Warranties don't cover all damages nor do you need them. The store already ensures the product is new. If you take good care of your product, the probability of it breaking is low especially if its very durable and high-quality! DVDs are extremely durable! Save money with this product!

Blu-ray Disc delivers full 1080p video resolution to provide pristine picture quality.

Blu-ray Disc provides as many as 7.1 channels of uncompressed surround sound for crystal-clear audio entertainment.

With a 3DTV and 3D Blu-ray player, you can enjoy the latest 3D movies in Full HD.

With Blu-ray Disc, you can enjoy such capabilities as seamless menu navigation, exciting, new bonus features and network/internet connectivity.

Blu-ray Discs are available in 25GB single layer or 50GB dual layer discs – five times the capacity of DVD.

DVDs are cheaper than streaming - Streaming sites are a waste of money. When you compare the time you're not using your monthly subscription to the time you are, you'll see you're not getting your money's worth. It's worse if your internet is poor to where your movies buffer. You could pay more for better internet but think of how much you're spending. With DVDs, you only make one-time buys which save you a ton of money long-term. Already in one month, you're saving $9-14 in your pocket with these DVDs! How much money would you save in a year with this DVD set vs. a streaming service?

DVDs have tangible ownership, streams don't - When you buy DVDs, you technically own them. With streams, you only pay for permission to watch them. If a company no longer wants to have its content in say Netflix's library, the company can request Netflix to remove it. You won't be able to stream it anymore. If a company stops selling a movie on DVD, that's the worst thing they can do. The company won't bother to confiscate your DVD.

DVDs have exclusive content, streams don't - DVDs (namely special editions) have much more content than streaming services such as extended editions, unrated editions, deleted scenes, interviews, "making of" documentaries, etc. Movie streams don't. Typically, streaming services play only standard editions of movies.

You can resell DVDs but not streams - You can resell DVDs since you have tangible ownership of them. With streams, you don't own them so you can't. Once again, you save a ton more money buying DVDs than streaming.

DVDs have better quality than streams - Quality is determined by bitrate. Higher bitrate means higher quality video and audio. Quality can also be affected by codec encoding and compression techniques. Regular DVDs run at 6-8 megabits per second. Streams usually play movies at lower rates. Netflix for example plays movies at around 5 megabits with a standard connection. If you're a videophile and audiophile like me, what's it costing you to have some of the best video/audio quality possible with this DVD?

DVDs don't require Internet, streams do - If your Internet connection or streaming service fails, you won't be able to finish watching your favorite movies and shows. Nothing is worse than watching one of the most critical and intense scenes in a movie only to be interrupted by say internet lag. It ruins the viewing experience. With DVDs, you don't have those problems.

DVDs look fantastic on display! - DVDs will make your room look much more alive with its stunning physical artwork! There's nothing like holding a DVD of your favorite film or show in your hands! With streaming, everything belongs to the streaming service. It can feel like you're just renting your favorite films and shows. Show how much of a Star Wars fan you are to the world by proudly displaying your collection!

Spoiler review

Story

The scene where Luke gets captured by a monster is disturbing! I feared for what the monster would do to Luke while eating him! Every Episode never ceases to amaze me with its fresh creatures, civilizations, planets, tech., characters, and more!

The film does a great job in making you feel Luke would die on Hoth!

When Vader sends the probe droids after Luke, i fear for what Vader will do to him! You feel as if Vader might torture him to death for striking a tremendous blow to the Empire!

The scene when the Rebels face the AT-AT walkers was earth-shattering! My heart sank! How will they ever hope to defeat such large and nearly indestructible machines?

The scene when Solo flies the Millennium Falcon through the astroid field shows major courage and recklessness!

When Luke lands on Dagobah, the film becomes scarier! Who knows what dangerous creatures lurk in the shadows!

The alien creautres that try to devour the Falcon appear to be stop-motion animated but look and feel so real!

Solo is clever for attaching the Falcon to the star destroyer then flying away when it ejects garbage.

Characters

Lando is a lovable character at first. Like Solo, he has style in his speech and mannerisms as well as dress. He feels trustworthy. You feel as if the heroes finally come to safety after so long. However, you're quickly disappointed when its revealed he betrayed them. Ultimately, you're left unsure on who's side he's on.

Chewbacca can be aggressive but he's mostly a gentle giant.

Lando's robot is disturbing! It looks and feels like a human controlled by a robot parasite!

I love how the characters develop. He begins to feel attracted to Leia after he's grown closer to people. She denies her attraction for him because it doesn't fit with what she thinks she wants in a partner. Chewbacca grows closer to the droids.

Cinamtography

The cinamotgoraphy is amazing like always! For example, during the fight between Luke and Vader - the cam moves in slow motion. This makes an eerie and disturbing effect on the audience as if Luke is in a nightmare.

Dialogue

The dialogue is just as strong as it was in the last Episode! When Leia says "I love you" and Solo says "I know..", that was iconic!

Acting

All of the actors did well as expected. Vader delivers lines so strongly in the episode. For example, he tells Luke "the force is strong with you but you are not a Jedi yet!" It was powerful because it was true and also implied Luke wasn't as strong as he thought he was.

Theme

The theme is centered on patience. Yoda tells Luke if he saves Han Solo and the rest of his crew too soon, it could undermine the benefits they would achieve through suffering.

Music

The music makes the action more epic. It sounds like a marching band at times.
